Laurie Ann Doyle, who writes both fiction and creative nonfiction, is a popular speaker at Writing Conferences. She is the author of the collection World Gone Missing and has won numerous awards, including being nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Her stories have appeared in McSweeney’s, Alta Journal, The Los Angeles Review and many other literary journals. She teaches at San Francisco Writers Grotto and UC Berkeley Extension.
