May Meeting Preview: Lita Kurth

The South Bay Writers club welcomes Lita Kurth as our May speaker. Lita is a creative writing instructor at De Anza College and the co-founder of the long-running spoken word venue Flash Fiction Forum, where writers read their work at WORKS gallery in downtown San Jose. She has written a book of creative writing prompts.
Her latest work, “Writing Memoir in Flashes: Creative Ways to Tell Your True Stories, One Memory at a Time” will be available in May. Lita will be speaking about how to write in short bursts, and will include an exercise (or two) to help get our creativity in gear.
